Our Teak is plantation grown and regulated by the Indonesian government, NOT FROM FOREST.
Quality
Our furniture is machine-made
because that’s how you get the most consistent, strongest and reliable
construction. Machine made gets a bad press but in our experience, when it comes
to teak, the furniture almost demands machinery.
And rest assured – our
fittings are made with 100% brass. It’s this attention to detail that we pride
ourselves on.
Warranty
We provide a lifetime warranty on our products against manufacturer defects – if you take
care of them, they’ll return the favour.
Assembly construction
Most require minimum assembly. Some don’t – like stackable
chairs – but those that do will come with clear instructions. And there’s always
the link by each item on our website to a pdf with the assembly instructions.
Cleaning and care
Our
teak furniture is unfinished and sanded. If left unfinished – which is perfectly
acceptable! – and kept outside, it will require NO maintenance, the teak will
change color with time, turning to a respectable and sophisticated silver-grey
as it matures and weathers. Or you can paint or oil it. Once oiled, however, be
warned – it will require regular maintenance.
Tax
There is a 6% tax on furniture shipped
within Connecticut.

If you have a design in
mind, we can produce it for you. Just give us a call or drop us a line and we’ll

Returns
We want our customers to
be satisfied – make that thrilled – with their purchase. We also have utter
faith in our products. That’s why if you’re not happy with your befurnished
piece, return the item within 30 days for a money back guarantee.

How "up to date" are your products?
At Befurnished, we create our designs very carefully. The
products we manufacture are always classic designs or the latest, most stylish
models. And, being a direct producer and importer, we make sure our site is
updated daily.
What about shipping costs?
Shipping costs for each item are shown on the website. All
products are shipped via UPS Ground, UPS Worldwide or by truck from our
warehouse in Newark, New Jersey.
How can you offer such low prices?
We are direct producers and importers of teak furniture,
which means we bring you the best quality teak furniture via the internet and
our catalog. We bypass retail stores – and those costly retail mark-ups – and
you win, with great quality teak furniture at reasonable prices.
When do you charge my credit card?
We do not charge your credit card until your order is ready to leave our warehouse.

Can I pick up my items from your warehouse?
Yes, we have two warehouses, customers can pick their products Monday to Friday 1pm to 5pm.
